Following on from the Haigh Hall engagement in the autumn of 2021 Wigan Council are now embarking on an ambitious plan for Haigh Hall to create a regional visitor attraction combining cultural, event and hospitality spaces and experiences. To realise the ambition an application to the Government’s Levelling up round 2 bidding process is being prepared for submission in early July 2022. A decision is expected in the Autumn of 2022.
