Before reporting this to us, please consider speaking to your neighbour yourself, if appropriate. By reporting this, you need to provide diary sheets and give evidence in court if we feel a statutory nuisance may be occurring.
Noise diary
Before completing this form, you will need to download and complete a noise diary detailing how and when you are being affected by the barking.
Complete the noise diary for 14 days. Once complete, you can report the issue to us using this form, where you will also be able to upload your completed noise diary. We may ask you to complete further noise diaries if there is an ongoing investigation.
I am unable to download the noise diary
If you are unable to download a copy of the noise diary, please clearly record for each incident over 14 days:
- Date occurred
- Time started
- Time ended
- Details of how you were impacted and which part of your property was affected.
You can take a picture and upload the image on the form.
Anonymous reports
We will not investigate anonymous reports. Your personal details will remain confidential and in most cases we will contact you within 10 days.
